Hello! Please help us to raise money for my dear friend Fathi. Fathi is only 20 years old, and until Oct of 2023 he was supposed to begin university. Over the last year Fathi instead has had to try everything to survive during war and famine while taking care of his younger siblings. They have now been displaced over six times throughout the Gaza strip. Their family, friends, home, schools, jobs, and cars have all been completed destroyed. Winter has been especially harsh with very cold temps and flooding rain. Childrens clothes are incredibly hard to find and expensive, as is medicine and food. We have been met with many obstacles for raising money for Fathi inclusing GoFundM shutting down Gazan fundraisers including Fathi’s. With the ceasefire looming there is a chance the border crossing will open. Before it was closed the price for each adult to cross was $5,000. Currently we only have $2,000 raised and we must move quickly so Fathi can help his family leave Gaza together. His family is in need of medical care and the exhaustion from sleepless freezing nights, famine, and endless displacement has mentally worn down Fathi and his young siblings. Please help us raise money to help them cross so they can begin the process of healing and rebuilding together as a family. God bless you.
